Anaïs is a brand strategy consultant. Two years ago, after returning from a trip, she decided to take the time to carry out a project that was close to her heart: training in naturopathy.

She chose Naturilys, a school in the heart of nature, which provides demanding training but with a pedagogy based on practice and organizes herself to devote 50% of her working time to it.

Today, in addition to her professional activity and her studies, she co-organizes courses around reconnecting with the body, nature and healthy and gourmet eating.

It was only natural that I asked him a few personal questions about his yoga practice, which I am sharing with you today.

How did you get into taking care of yourself?

I don't see a key date, where I would have said to myself, now I take care of myself, I think it's a process that is always in motion. I have always been sensitive to nature, I need to spend time there, more and more time, especially since the time I lived in Paris, where I felt "out of touch". Eating well, on the other hand, is a family tradition. Cooking at home must be good in every sense of the word and it is shared! Only yoga burst into my life a few years ago, it is the meeting point with naturopathy by the way!

What practice for your well-being?

Yoga in everyday life, I like to practice in class to let myself be carried by the energy of the group but if I don't have the possibility to do it, I practice alone.

What is the ritual of your practice?

If I practice alone, I roll out my mat and put on some music, but my greatest pleasure is to practice in nature. I am lucky enough to live in Marseille and to be by the sea quickly.

What do you get out of it?

Energy, calm and a little more perspective on events.

What do you carry in your yoga bag?

My Tayrona yoga mat and my thick wool socks for meditation.

What is your favorite object/accessory?

My Tayrona yoga mat now ;-). Seriously, on the one hand I was finding it increasingly difficult to conceive of a yoga practice on a plastic mat and on the other hand I am sensitive to Tayrona's commitment to the Kogis and to the support of the Tchedukua association, which is linked to my naturopathy school.

What would be your advice for Tayrona Yoginis?

To practice … and as often as possible outdoors! One day an Indian told me: “When you get up in the morning and you feel in great shape, do 12 sun salutations before starting your day, and on mornings when you are not in great shape … do 12 sun salutations before starting your day!”

What is your mantra/favourite phrase?

This one, in fact, works in all circumstances and instantly takes me back to a lovely morning in Kerala a few years ago.
